Jason Beil, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from Millersville University in 1993 with a BA in music.  During and after college he spent some time working in musical theater, appearing in  productions of Oklahoma, Cabaret,  Some Like It Hot, Anyone Can Whistle, and others.  He landed a starring role as Judas in a local production Jesus Christ Superstar, his favorite role so far.

During the Holiday season, Jason performs traditional holiday carols with  the Occasional Singers, a vocal troupe based in Maryland and Delaware.  He is also an author and songwriter.  To date he has published two fantasy novels, The Talisman of Faerie, and its sequel, The Sword of Kings, both of which can be ordered from Amazon.com.  Talisman has been translated into German and is currently published in Europe by Austrian publishing company, Otherworld Verlag.
